** A lot of strips makes fun of [[DumbBlonde Dumb Blondes]], usually accompanied by a thin waist and big breasts. One example had her dancing around two busty women while singing a Christmas song, commenting that their breasts looked like balls hanging in a Christmas tree. (Just to be clear: these women hadn't done anything to Nemi.)
** Anybody who likes music that Nemi doesn't like.
** Nemi does not care at all for Senterpartiet (The Centre Party), an agrarian centrist political party in Norway for, among other reasons, being pro-fur farms and wanting to exterminate Norway's wolves.
** People who do not consider artist to be a "real" profession, or who think designing on a computer is easy, get no mercy. Generally done through Ophelia, who's an artist, and Cyan, who's a graphic designer.

* [[HoYay Les Yay]]: One could argue that there is some tension between Nemi and Cyan. They have been friends for as long as the series has gone on (their first meeting was on a Music/{{WASP}} concert), and they often show affection for each other, wether it's platonic or not. Nemi often acts as a less serious parental figure to Cyan's daughter, and, of course, there are some covers that imply a romantic relationship. One has Cyan and vampire Nemi in a very suggestive pose.

* TearJerker: One comic begins with one of Nemi's friends asking her if she's feeling alright, so she smiles and says, "Yes!" She then sits alone with a solemn expression. As the comic ends with Nemi unable to find anyone willing to listen to her problems, she sheds a SingleTear.
* UncannyValley: The way Creator/KateWinslet and Creator/LeonardoDiCaprio looked in the comic where Nemi changed the ending of ''Film/{{Titanic 1997}}''.
