The Werdos trapped the fire elemental monsters in amber, then ate them to protect the trees from fire]]". This ignores the fact that the "Freed thing" decoration’s Information says that the Freed thing talks about some sort of cataclysmic event that affected at least ''two'' different dimensions, and that it was somehow trapped in amber along with Kayna, because of the binding magic of the trees. While the game itself doesn’t seem know exactly what the Freed thing is talking about, the info gives no indication that the Werdos had any part in it. With the release of [[{{Prequel}} Dawn of Fire]], the theory may have lost some of its popularity, due to it showing the fire element monsters living with the other monsters without complication. As of the release of the Fire Haven island, the theory has been {{Jossed}}, as it reveals that the fire element monsters of Fire Haven [[ReportsOfMyDeathWereGreatlyExaggerated survived the cataclysm, and were just hiding out on the island.]]

** Some monsters on Light island qualify as this as well. Some people think Pluckbill's large mouth doesn't fit its design, while many are disappointed in Blow't the quad due to the fact it's hard to hear. No longer the case for Blow't in Update 3.6, as it has been made significantly louder.

** Light Island. Despite its relaxing song, a majority of players don't like it due to Kayna singing throughout the whole song and the fact that it's somewhat rushed.

** Another [=TikTok=] trend, which occurred in the next month, is ranking the 5 Epic Wubboxes in different ways, such as how good they sound or how dangerous they seem.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Upon Quarrister's release in Dawn of Fire, many, ''many'' fans expressed sheer disappointment that Quarrister doesn't get to go to cave island, an island which fits perfectly for the monster's appearance. Instead, Quarrister only goes to Party Island, which upset the Fandom even more, as they thought Quarrister doesn't fit there at all.

It does sound ''much'' better when placed on the Tribal Island, however. In an ironic twist, the Entbrat was added to Dawn of Fire, and despite his Cloud Island voice fixing most of the problems people had with him, people agree that this new voice made him worse.

Fung Prey is well liked for it's cool preying mantis themed design and adding a nice violin instrumental to Ethereal Island. Whisp is also well liked for having an [[CreepyCute endearing]] design as well as adding an eerie yet soothing voice to Ethereal Island.

Not only is the regular Hoola difficult to breed on its own thanks to it being a seasonal monster and its low breeding chance in general, but the Rare Hoola has (so far) only been available at random times. In 3. Hour. Increments. Not only does it only allow for about two attempts maximum on each island, it also doesn't take into account different time zones, so you better hope they don't make it available when you'd normally be asleep. Needless to say, it has caused a lot of backlash, as many see it as a ploy by BBB to make people buy it instead with Diamonds, which cost real world money.
*** Thankfully, BBB has noticed the controversy and has not only made these Rare Hoola opportunities occur more often, but also released a code to everyone for 10 free diamonds.

* NightmareFuel: The rare Punkletons have to deal with their [[FacialHorror heads decomposing]], and their bio implies that the same will happen to regular Punkletons, but at a much slower rate.

** What did I breed?/This is definitely [monster] [[labelnote:Explanation]]Before 11/08/22, it was common for people to ask what monster they bred at r/[=MySingingMonsters=] until a rule was put up that disallowed these kinds of posts. Due to the abundance of these posts back then, it's common to parody them by showing breeding combinations that are simply not possible (e.g. breeding combinations using Wubboxes, Werdos etc.) or giving obviously false answers to combinations for which the answer is known (e.g. someone showing that they succesfully bred an Ethereal, but either the OP or someone in the comments saying they bred something else, such as a Noggin or a fake monster with a typically overly long name, like Legendary Epic Rare Ethereal Dipster).[[/labelnote]]
