SANTBD is being merged with Anvilicious. Not examples as fails to explain how it's heavy handed.

* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: No matter how close two can be when it comes to their bond with each other, some people just aren't that comfortable when it comes to living with their friends in the same home.

Trading the wagon without Trixie's consent was insensitive of Starlight, but the episode still portrayed them both in the wrong for their treatment towards each other, and they realized not all friends can be comfortable living with each other and forgave each other in the end after their dispute.

* WhyWouldAnyoneTakeHimBack: ShippingGoggles aside, this episode may provide a platonic example in Starlight trading away Trixie's wagon without her consent.

As written, this only explains why Trixie's intentionally sympathetic.

* UnintentionallySympathetic: Even though the episode tries to put a BothSidesHaveAPoint situation over Starlight's decision to sell Trixie's wagon. People getting attached to their vehicles (or other objects) isn't that uncommon, just ask any biker, nor is really an unhealthy thing. There is also the fact that Trixie's Wagon is basically her home.

Cut trope

* CounterpartComparison: The StandYourGround moment between Trixie and Hoo'Far looks a lot like the one in ''Franchise/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy'' when Arthur Dent lies down in front of a bulldozer meant to tear down his house.

Moving to correct title.

* CounterpartComparison: The StandYourGround moment between Trixie and Hoo'Far looks a lot like the one in ''Franchise/TheHitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy'' when Arthur Dent lies down in front of a bulldozer meant to tear down his house.
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Hoo'far's gotten a lot of popularity after the episode aired, being a friendly (and good-looking) Saddle Arabian who to some degree respects Trixie as a fellow magician and traveler. Also helps that he's a unicorn and opens up the fandom to differing tribes among Saddle Arabians.
* FanficFuel:
** The fact that Saddle Arabians have different tribes like Equestria instead of being earth pony exclusive as previously implied opens up new possibilities.
** Who was Starlight's substitute guidance counselor?
** Trixie's previous experiences in Somnambula.
* HilariousInHindsight: Cadence carrying Flurry Heart on her head in the prologue? [[https://www.deviantart.com/doublewbrothers/art/Hats-563753633 This comic]] predates that idea by '''3''' years (Although it's not her in that).
* LesYay: The song "We're Friendship Bound" is full of it, especially the lines "we're so tight, we can't move around". At one point, Starlight compares their situation to a ChainedHeat plot, a trope that very often turns romantic (though she specifically compares it to a "buddy movie" type of thing, lessening the romantic element).
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot:
** Despite this episode featuring a return to the village of Somnambula, the pony herself is completely absent. Not to mention that her being the Pillar of Hope would've made her the perfect middlemare to help Starlight and Trixie resolve their dispute.
** Because of Starlight and Trixie's caravan/wagon dispute, the duo never reached Saddle Arabia, which the fans would had loved to see after '''5''' seasons worth of speculation since its namedrop debut in "[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS3E5MagicDuel Magic Duel]]".
* WhyWouldAnyoneTakeHimBack: ShippingGoggles aside, this episode may provide a platonic example in Starlight trading away Trixie's wagon without her consent.
