Her frustration and annoyance are pretty understandable, especially to anyone who had a bad time at a festival. It helps that she has a JerkassRealization and gets better.

** Yet another Equestrian artifact was lost in the human world, but this time there's no backstory for it. Doubly so since it wasn't hidden like the Memory Stone was; it was just lying on the path like it was tossed there haphazardly.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: Some members of the brony fandom were hesitant about the idea of the Dazzlings returning to possibly get a redemption, feeling that would take away everything that made them such enjoyable villains to begin with. * TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: The Dazzlings act as a RedHerring for a few minutes before they're almost literally PutOnABus and don't appear again. They don't have nearly as much of an impact on the plot as they did in ''Rainbow Rocks'', only accidentally helping Sunset have a JerkassRealization. Some fans feel that ''they'' should have been the main villains instead of [=PostCrush=], using the Time Twirler to keep Sunset and the others stuck in the time loop as revenge -- a possibility that Sunset considers in-universe. It doesn't help that fans have waited five years to see the Dazzlings again after ''Rainbow Rocks'' (IDW comics notwithstanding), so their anticlimactic turn here can sting. Did not help with the news the ''Equestria Girls'' series was cancelled following this special.
