** For what it's worth, "warfighter" is the US Department of Defense's catch-all term for any individual personnel (armed or support), from any branch of service, and from any allied nations. It is generally used when the other catch-all term, "service member", does not sound threatening enough.

* TheWoobie: Rabbit. Poor Rabbit. He falls from a helicopter, gets the building blown up around him, forcing Mother to drag him to safety, gets shot, jumps off a cliff, gets captured, escapes, gets captured AGAIN, is tortured, but then rescued, but finally [[TearJerker succumbs to his wounds while waiting for a rescue helicopter.]] The worst part is that this all happened over a period of a few hours.

to:

* UncannyValley: Multiple reviewers have noted this regarding the pre-rendered cinematics in ''Warfighter''. Everything is incredibly photorealistic and could actually be mistaken for live-action... but the technology still can't get human faces quite right, and the result is incredibly jarring and unnerving. Preacher's wife and daughter get especially hit hard with this.

** The epic battle music, as [[http://www.tracksounds.com/reviews/medal_honor.htm noted]] by film score [[http://www.filmtracks.com/titles/medal_honor.html reviewers]], clearly has a JohnWilliams flavour, especially his work for ''Film/IndianaJonesAndTheLastCrusade''. The theme for the German Army ([[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xulvBtTMfY The Radar Train]] (at about 2:44 - 2:59) compare with [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1jOIxV3t1E Brother of the Crusiform Sword]] (at about 0:50) ) is clearly reminiscent of John Williams' theme for the Germans in that movie. This is no wonder, since the game's producer was StevenSpielberg and the tone of the first 1999 game was an adventurous and light-hearted version of WWII.

* FridgeBrilliance: Generally, the first level in any game is an easy one. But ''Frontline's'' version of Omaha Beach ''will'' kill you, repeatedly, if you don't take the right path, and it's not explicitly marked so it's pretty much guaranteed to require at least a few restarts. One suspects they did this (killing you a lot) on purpose to represent what storming that beach really meant.

* PragmaticAdaptation: It's a minor point albeit a historical inaccurate one, but Canada's marker for the map for the D-Day invasion is the modern Maple Leaf Flag, which was not adapted until 1965. Most likely the game designers decided that having the Red Ensign flag of that day would too confusing for gamers and not worth the trouble to explain.
