** Was Ingrith's relationship with her brother one of actual genuine love or was it completely rooted in them both sharing FantasticRacism against the Moorfolk—and thus her motivation in revenge is primarily an extension of her own desire to bolster her family's station in life [[ItsAllAboutMe in her own selfish interests with both power and ego]]? How much she doesn't talk about sadness in losing her brother and how much she was repulsed by her father for being "weak" and wanting peace—same as her husband—would not in any way shape or form make Ingrith even the slightest bit empathetic. While the aspects of her wanting to take on those she holds responsible for her brother's death ''might'' be there, it speaks way more to Ingrith by the end of the day simply acting way more into the hatred and desire to conquer or commit genocide that has always been there in her heart.

* CompleteMonster: [[GodSaveUsFromTheQueen Queen Ingrith]] is Prince Phillip's secretly power-hungry [[AbusiveParents mother]] who despises her husband as a fool for wanting peace between his kingdom and TheFairFolk. It's revealed she spread the fable of Maleficent being an evil sorceress, later framing her for cursing King John into a death-like sleep and the deaths of two of her poachers; in the process, she tries to ruin Aurora's bond with Maleficent. Ingrith has her poachers kidnap fae from the Moors and perform experiments to [[FantasticRacism find a way to kill them]], experimenting with red iron dust to kill a helpless sprite; her assistant in these experiments is a pixie whose wings she cut off. She lures the Moors into a church where she has red iron dust unleashed, killing dozens of them, while she oversees the massacre of the Dark Fae in the ensuing battle. When Ingrith tells Aurora a story of how she lost her brother and was exiled from her kingdom due to the fae, Aurora [[FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse doesn't believe her and calls out her lies]], with Ingrith admitting she's a fear-mongering tyrant. Ingrith seemingly kills Maleficent while her and Aurora's guard is down, and pushes Aurora off a tower as a diversion when Maleficent rises from the ashes during an escape attempt.
