* IKnewIt: Youtube comments on some of the older ''Le Pire Editeur du Monde'' episodes had fans speculating the first season's finale will feature ''Literature/FiftyShadesOfGrey'' and the inept publisher will ''accept to publish'' the draft (to reflect how much Links hated this book in real life). This is more or less what happened in real life: the first season's finale was indeed about ''Fifty Shades of Grey'', and the publisher is at first delighted by the novel's plot summary... though he's eventually enraged by the novel once he understands it's an erotic novel with sexually explicit scenes, then refuses to publish it as usual.

* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: Many of his videos, especially his older ones (notably, his early Point Cultures) unironically used Internet memes that were popular at the time of their uploads (late 2000s-early 2010s), like Webcomic/RageComics characters, or Trololo. Due to the average meme longevity, these tend to be dated and awkward when viewed again nowadays.

* {{Anvilicious}}: Links is not subtle at all when he states his opinions about feminism, veganism, and other social justice issues, especially since 2016. A particularly egregious example is his Point Culture on veganism. However, he became less preachy after the backlash received on this said video.
