** ''Kingdoms of Ruin'' is so over-the-top with depicting random acts of murder and rape that it quickly becomes very hard to take any of it seriously. * CrossesTheLineTwice: Shirousagi should easily be one of the most vile and despicable villains in the series and the way he [[spoiler: rips out and crushes Doroka's eyes while forcing Adonis to watch]] is such a sick and twisted thing that there is no possibility of redemption for the character. In his short appearance, Shirousagi, through his acts, easily establishes himself as one of the most evil anime villains alive alongside [[Manga/{{Berserk}} Griffith]] who assaults women in very disturbing ways while forcing the protagonist love interest to watch. However, the minute Shirousagi taunts Adonis by asking "Are these your balls?" and starts twirling [[spoiler: Doroka's eyes]] around in a very over-the-top way, you might forget Shirousagi is supposed to be a despicable piece of garbage you want the protagonist to kill and start laughing at the sheer absurdity of what he's done, with the end result being that Shirousagi ends up being hilarious and LaughablyEvil, while the scene itself loses all gravitas and ends up being another {{Narm}} filled moment which might make the audience break out in more laughter than anger or sorrow.
