* EightPointEight: IGN gave the game a review of 5.3, ranking even lower than ''VideoGame/JumpForce''. The review takes issue with the short campaigns that ''have'' to be completed before anything else in the game is unlocked, the small character roster, that the game is catered specifically to fans who have already seen the anime, and that the combat feels like a button masher like most anime 3D arena fighters often do. [=YouTube=] commenters quickly took issue with the ''reviewer'', stating how he wasn't qualified to tackle the game for mispronouncing character names and selling the game's strengths pretty short, and how it should be obvious that the game was never designed to attract outsiders who weren't familiar with the series in the first place.

** Roster wise, the game includes a pretty barebones amount of characters. You have Ryuko, Satsuki, the Elite Four, Nui, and Ragyo. Even if you include the DLC characters, that leaves the roster as having ten total playable characters with two variants of Ryuko and Satsuki. Many find this to be one to be one of the weakest aspects of the game, as while there aren't a lot of major characters in the show, the roster could have used minor characters like some of the Class Presidents or the various forms of the Elite Four's Goku Uniforms as a way to beef up the roster.

* EightPointEight: IGN gave the game a review of 5.3, ranking even lower than ''VideoGame/JumpForce''. The review takes issue with the short campaigns that HAVE to be completed before literally anything else in the game is even unlocked, the small character roster, that the game is catered specifically to fans who have already seen the anime, and that the combat feels like a button masher like most anime 3D arena fighters often do. Youtube commenters quickly took issue with the ''reviewer'', stating how he wasn't qualified to tackle the game for butchering the pronunciations of character names and selling the game's strengths pretty short, and how it should be pretty obvious that the game was never designed to attract outsiders who weren't familiar with the series in the first place. In comparison, quite a few other youtubers like Globku cite the game as one of the strongest examples of the 3D arena fighter out there.

* ScrappyMechanic: Something widely complained about regarding Story mode is how there's no way to switch between targets in battles against multiple enemies, resulting in players taking loads of cheap shots.
