* ItsEasySoItSucks: A common criticism of ''Junk Yard'', as everything in the game is pretty straightforward, even its WizardMode--Nothing in the game requires more than 5 shots (even the Super Jackpot only needs 2), everything is spelled out directly for the player, and it is pretty linear for a pinball table, leading to experts often growing bored of it if they play it for too long. Often forgotten is the fact that pinball tables are just as meant to be out in public for people to drop coins in to play, which is what ''Junk Yard'' is almost certainly meant for.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: "Knight Mission" for one of the [[NostalgiaLevel Time Machine]] modes was dated as 1999 despite the machine being released in 1997 and doesn't correspond to any mode in any other game prior nor any game after Junkyard made by Williams before closing up their pinball division in 1999. It makes you wonder if WMS was planning another sequel game to follow Black Knight and Black Knight 2000, where "Knight Mission" was a teaser to that planned game, and it was just abandoned as an idea for a new machine.

Added What Could Have Been, though I admit it's mainly speculation about the Knight Mission mode in Time Machine that has no corresponding game for it.
