** Houou, the FinalBoss. His Houou Crash move is a lightning fast DivingKick, which deals 20 units of damage. The aerial version also has next to no cooldown. The rest of the character is good, but Houou Crash propels him into TierInducedScrappy territory.

** Houou, the FinalBoss. His Houou Crash move is a lightning fast DivingKick, which deals 20 units of damage. The aerial version also has next to no cooldown. The rest of the character is good, with Houou Cannon, a HomingProjectile and Houou Upper, a ridiculous-looking LauncherMove, both being good tools, but Houou Crash is what propels him into TierInducedScrappy HighTierScrappy territory.

* LowTierLetdown:
** Zak. His normal moves do pitiful damage, and his special moves are slow and require charging. In addition, he can't throw the opponent. He is only saved by his special moves doing excellent damage against blocking opponents, but hitting those special moves in the first place is no easy task.
** Skater is unanimously considered the worst character in the game, even though his moveset looks serviceable at first glance. However, he lacks a throw, and unlike Zak, Old, Hover and Star, who also lack a throw but have safe ways to apply ScratchDamage, all of Skater's special moves are slow and get Skater easily punished if the opponent blocks. This means that Skater has no options to deal with the opponent sitting there and blocking the entire game.

* LowTierLetdown:
LowTierLetdown: The majority of characters don't fare well against the best of the best, but these four are especially bad.
** Zak.Out of the eight characters playable in War Mode, Senju is the worst without any contest. His mobility is mediocre and his normal attacks are poor save for his Good Punch. His specials aren't much better either. Flying Drill would be a useful move if it didn't lack blockstun, allowing for opponents to easily block and punish, Drill Attack is incredibly unsafe on block and has middling reward on hit, and Cube Toss is the worst throw in the game, with poor damage, terrible range and low hitstun leaving Senju at a disadvantage after throwing the opponent. Multi Punch is serviceable and is better at dealing with blocking opponents than Cube Toss is due to its multihit properties, but that isn't enough to save Senju from being a LowTierLetdown.
** Zak, the training dummy who is seemingly intended as the game's JokeCharacter.
His normal moves do pitiful damage, and his special moves are slow and require charging. In addition, he can't throw the opponent. He is only saved by his special moves doing excellent damage against blocking opponents, but hitting those special moves in the first place is no easy task.
** Geo is the game's MasterOfNone. He has a projectile in Geo Wave, but its incredibly long startup and terrible reward makes it the worst projectile in the game. He has a throw, but it is nothing special. He has access to AirDashing with Jet Storm, but the attack has a set trajectory and lacks hitboxes in front of him. His poor speed and mediocre grounded moves force him to take to the air, where due to his poor hitboxes on his aerial attacks, he can be hit very easily.
This means acts as an AchillesHeel for Skater, meaning that Skater has they have no options to deal with the opponent sitting there and blocking the entire game.

Flying Kick also gives Leo the single easiest infinite combo in the game. In addition, many of Leo's moves launch opponents high like a move that knocks down, without actually knocking them down, allowing Leo to land successive hits on the opponent while they're still in the air.
