Being poorly-made doesn't count as wasting a plot.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The irony of this work is that, at its core, it's a vampire story. The problem of course laid in the traced drawings and plagiarism. In the hands of a more competent artist with his own art style, or a better inker, the whole thing would have been a decent story akin to ''Manga/TokyoGhoul'', but alas...

"Idiot Plot" is now Flame Bait. Renamed one trope.

* IdiotPlot:
** The revenants have been shown to be significant threats in Chapter 3, which makes it utterly baffling why they had to run and hide in Chapter 1 when their superpowered forms could have easily torn everyone apart.
** Mot and Connor don't even try to explain to their fellow revenants that they're basically being forced against their will to protect a human. Speaking of which, why does the human girl in the story even need those two when she already has a personal army and Vincent, both of which have actually curb-stomped the two revenants and forced the others into hiding earlier in the story?

* SpecialEffectsFailure: Connor punching a man through his torso should produce way more gore than what was seen in the comic, where only a few thin streams of blood can be seen on his entire arm.

* ValuesDissonance: A meta-example: Tite Kubo's opinion about the whole problem regarding the plagiarism accusations against Nick Simmons, as you can see in the quote in the main page, can be interpreted as being an aspect of Japanese culture. Kubo is using [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honne_and_tatemae Tatemae]] for nuancing his speech, while possibly searching for his legal options with his lawyers in Japan. The ''I'm more bothered by the fact that Gene Simmons' son is a comic artist'' quote can be interpreted, [[JapanesePoliteness from a Japanese POV]], as a StealthInsult against both Nick Simmons and his father Gene, akin to "Why did Gene Simmons allow his son to be a comic book artist in ''the first place''?"

* HilariousInHindsight: Superpowered beings that eat humans and are among us since time inmemorial? Well, aside from pretty much every UrbanFantasy ever, it's basically an American take on Manga/TokyoGhoul... Which debuted in 2011, two years later.

* EightDeadlyWords: Let's face it. Nearly ''everybody'' in this comic (save for [[TokenGoodTeammate Ellie]] and Sybil) is, to put it bluntly, an asshole. This makes it impossible to sympathize with any of the cast.
* IdiotPlot: The revenants have been shown to be significant threats in Chapter 3, which makes it utterly baffling why they had to run and hide in Chapter 1 when their superpowered forms could have easily torn everyone apart.

* CaptainErsatz:
** Most character designs are ripped off of ''{{Bleach}}''. Those that aren't, came from ''{{Hellsing}}'', at least one from ''OnePiece'', and possibly ''FullmetalAlchemist''. The character (seen [[http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/7311/incarnhel1.jpg here]]) looks like an amalgam of [[FullmetalAlchemist Greed]], [[{{Hellsing}} Alucard]], and [[OnePiece Crocodile]].
** And maybe ''[=~Wolf's Rain~=]''. The white wolf looks exactly like Kiba. Exact eye color and everything.
** Most likely ''DeathNote'' as well, since the cover character has traces of L and arguably Teru Mikami in him. [[http://i536.photobucket.com/albums/ff330/Kylara21/plag/copy3.jpg There's more.]]
** He even stole character designs from Deviantart. If [[http://i536.photobucket.com/albums/ff330/Kylara21/plag/1819compare.jpg this]] doesn't look like bad plagiarism, ''nothing'' will.

* SmallNameBigEgo: Nick. The official statement he released (seen [[http://manga.about.com/b/2010/03/01/update-nick-simmons-talks-about-manga-plagarism-scandal.htm here]]) shows signs of this. There's even one line that basically says "I'm sorry you perceive this as plagiarism", which many fans took offense to.
