More like he is unnaturally and inexplicably mute and emotionless, even during scenes where he should be screaming or laughing, he just sits there with a blank expression on his face [[BerserkButton and DOES NOTHING!!]] He's in half of the scenes in the second half of the film! They couldn't give him a speaking role just so he could emote? I'm sorry, but the fact that this kid had to sit and do nothing in his scenes KILLED my WillingSuspensionOfDisbelief.

Worse still the vampire/zombies feature throughout the film at the same consistently bad level. They seriously couldn't get a bunch of extras made into bald vampires with make-up for less money?
