* CrossesTheLineTwice: The opening of "Friar's Rubbing Wood: The Fall of Nottingham" is a tense, on-air argument between Friar Tuck and the Sheriff of Nottingham that culminates in the former shooting the latter dead in a fit of rage and getting arrested, with the last shot showing him forlornly looking out the window of the cop car. Cue the jaunty opening credits, set to "I Shot The Sheriff".

* HilariousInHindsight: Wallace is frequently depicted as a sith lord in the videos, which has become strangely prophetic in light of the reveal that Creator/AardmanAnimations (the creators of WesternAnimation/WallaceAndGromit) would be one of the nine studios involved with the second season of Anime/StarWarsVisions. [=HourofPoop=] themselves would lampshade this humorous coincidence on their Twitter page.

YMMV tropes can't be played with.

* MoralEventHorizon: Parodied, Friar Tuck stealing Skippy Rabbit's ice cream and subsequent refusal to apologize for doing so is seen as this in-universe, and it also serves as the one big catalyst to him ultimately dooming Nottingham out of sheer pettiness.

* NightmareFuel: Friar Tuck's revenge on Skippy Rabbit and Ms. Cluck in "Fall of Nottingham" is incredibly eerie. While Skippy's out practising his archery, the Friar manipulates the winds so that the arrow lands within the castle walls and strikes Ms. Cluck, killing her instantly. Once Skippy and his friends discover her body, he then summons a demonic replica of Maid Marian to drag Skippy down to Hell for murder (complete with a sped-up shot of Cluck's corpse decaying into a skeleton), leaving nothing but the fatal arrow behind. Keep in mind that Skippy was a small boy whose only misdeeds were cutting in line and being rude to Friar Tuck, and for that the Friar dammed his soul to eternal suffering.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: A lot of work was put into making sure each character fits into the style of the videos. Their animations are clipped very well, to the point of having very little background elements or noise.

A notable example of the effort being put in is when Hamm has been run over, all subsequent scenes have had him carefully removed.
