* FunnyAneurysmMoment: The professor's memory problems are PlayedForLaughs in the film. Years later, his voice actor Creator/TerryJones was forced to retire due to an onset of dementia (which eventually claimed his life in 2020), making it significantly less funny nowadays.

* AwesomeArt: This is some gorgeous hand-drawn animation! So gorgeous it's almost always compared to Creator/DonBluth's works in terms of visuals.
