* BrokenBase: Some fans think the wait is worth it as "Too Much Scream Time" is the first new HTF content in years and thus they would love anything Mondo put out by this point (and with the plan for yet another revival in 2024, things would be looking up), while some others consider the short to be the worst thing published for being a glorified [[ProductPlacement advertisement]] not helped by technical problems easily noticed by long-time fans.

Added DiffLines:

* OneSceneWonder: Disco Bear's haircut in this short became the main highlight alongside how he actually succeeded in impressing Giggles (until his death happened anyway), despite being in a scene that only lasts for a few seconds.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The trailer showed the short's premise of Pop trying to keep Cub from copying what the latter saw on TV, which sounded promising as it could be used as a meta joke to poke fun at MoralGuardians' reaction towards {{Subverted Kids Show}}s. The gradual reveal that it was a collaboration with ''VideoGame/TheCrackpetShow'', an equally cartoony violent game inspired by the show, would have opened up plenty of cross-references between them. Both the show and the game even went all in with the MoralGuardians joke of "don't let your parents see you enjoy this" as part of their promotion. But alas, the show was already running on NoBudget, so the episode came out very short with entirely reused audio, and this was made even shorter due to the collaboration gimmick which is just as lazy as putting ''The Crackpet Show'' promotional videos into the animation and calling it a day.
