** In an inadvertent case of this being HilariousInHindsight, Blake went on to make an appearance in the base mod itself, as the player character in "Frostbite". Even better, the mod appears to combine Blake and Gold into the same person before and after his death to the cold and Freakachu.

* CreepyCute: The fandom loves treating Gold this way. If it's not angst art, most fanart of him is flat out adorable in contrast to the frights in the mod. It's emphasized when a Twitter user finds [[https://twitter.com/ArtsCryptid/status/1584258296906911744 this particular]] piece of unused content for "Pasta Night" where Gold would've been a background character, now wearing a red bowtie and is strung up by two balloons spelling out "HI" in the Unown language.

** The Game Over for Purin is also rather creepy, showing Pico reduced to a gory mess and when you quit you [[JumpScare get a closeup of his face]] before cutting to static.

* FanonDiscontinuity: WordOfGod is nearly completely ignored that the mod has the SuddenDownerEnding that Girlfriend and Boyfriend have both been abducted by Hypno and a lot of fan art actually has Girlfriend NoSell Hypno's attempts. Considering she also managed to beat [[VideoGame/VsSonicExe Sonic.exe]], this was inevitable.

* BreatherBoss: "Death Toll", despite the setup, is actually one of the easiest songs in the mod. The only gimmick, Hell Bell's tolls, are just as simple as pressing any other note in the song, with no real repercussions outside of losing HP.

** With the way Gold's body contorts and writhes, combined with [[Fanfic/PokemonLostSilver his origins]], it's hard not to feel sorry for him having to fight Boyfriend. Notably, should you lose, he forgoes brutalizing Boyfriend (you don't even hear BF's skeleton crack like it usually does, as the music cuts out) and instead simply leaves, as if he's taking the chance to [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere escape.]] It somehow gets even ''worse'' in the second version, as [[spoiler:the Unown end up ''ripping his head off'' in order to fully control him, despite his pleas for it to stop.]] His face during the second phase looks especially pained.

* CrossesTheLineTwice: Gray, the protagonist of "Shinto" and "Shitno" being possessed by a dead child? Sad, and somewhat expected. The reason for him being possessed being that the developers ''couldn't be assed to program him''? Hilarious.
