When the Joker is released, Bane engages him in a gang war, managing to keep him contained to the Narrows. Though ultimately defeated, Talia informs the heroes that she flooded the reactor room to prevent them from defusing the bomb. Proving worthy successors to their father, Bane and Talia come with in a hair's breadth of winning.

In her second appearance, while Selina is incognito for the majority of the story and doesn't come back until the very end, she reveals she's kept tabs on Bruce and has recently provided the evidence that officially [[ClearTheirName clears Batman of all wrong-doing]] she set him up for--"to make Gotham's nightlife a little more interesting"--before [[AndTheAdventureContinues once again slipping away into hiding]].
