* UncannyValley: Maybe not as much as ''Sofia'', but the animation still suffers from this at times, particularly in closeups of the child characters' faces.
** The first season was animated at Toiion Studios like Sofia, so it's not too much of a surprise.
** Some of the episodes in the second season were animated at Stellar Creative Lab, and it's made the faces a little creepy.

Some Anvils Need To Be Dropped is getting cut, although I'll see if these can fit as An Aesop examples.

* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped:
** A series-wide message is about how it's good to think big, but not at the expense of your friendship with others.
** "Le Café Parfait" says that while it's good to impress others, you shouldn't bend over backwards for people who don't appreciate your work.
** "Au Revoir Jean Claude" shows that you can't shield others from death, while also saying you can't bottle up how you feel. It's about how you move on from that and honor their memory.

* EarWorm: The theme song is really nice and [[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OdIfX1fjO8k catchy]]. Of course, the crew for this series worked on ''WesternAnimation/SofiaTheFirst'' , which has equally catchy music.
** "The Eiffel Tower is "La Tour Eiffel", when something's pretty, they say "tres belle"! I'm not just a girl here, no, I'm a mademoiselle..."
** The [[https://youtu.be/28NzNKgbcBg Blub Blub Lullaby]] is a really beautiful and melancholy song about how Nancy has a nighttime companion in the form of her fish.
** [[https://youtu.be/mVaoPQ7KFD0 What Makes Christmas Fancy]] is a song that definitely gets you into the Christmas spirit.

* FridgeBrilliance:
** In "Vive La Revolution", why is Nancy surprised at her own mother being the head of the block committee? Well, it's a very grown up position, and as "Grow Up, Jojo" showed, she's not ready for grown up things yet.
** In "Au Revoir Jean Claude", Jojo is surprisingly unaffected by Jean Claude's death, even though Nancy thinks she couldn't handle it. Well, it makes sense when you take into account what Nancy said in "Million Dollar Minnow." She said that Jojo wouldn't completely understand some of life's harsher realities, which is the case here.
** "Nancy's Friendship Faux Pas" has her not minding playing egg toss and hunting frogs despite them being potentially dirty activities, being more slightly annoyed at best but not acting too much on it. Well, it makes sense in light of "What's Bugging Nancy". In that episode, she learned to be more accepting of Bree's passion of bugs, something potentially disgusting. Even if they're not some of her favorite pastimes , she's willing to do the activities due to wanting to hang out with Bree and be more accepting since she doesn't want to lose her friendship.

* JerkassWoobie : "Mon Amie Grace" does this for Grace. Yes, she's rather stuck up and prideful, but considering she doesn't have any true friends and once had to deal with a friend who didn't mean to give her a valentine, you feel sorry for her like Nancy does.

It's not a YMMV trope

* SugarWiki/SweetDreamsFuel: The show has a nice, laid back nature to it.

YMMV can't be played

* GirlShowGhetto: Averted. While the show does have an overtly girly exterior, the show is still well received by many people thanks to just simply weaving fanciness into episode rather than writing the episodes around said fanciness.
