Louis feeling bad for yelling Peter was played for laughs, we weren't supossed to sympathize with Peter at all
Deleted line(s) 3 (click to see context) :
* StrawmanHasAPoint: Lois had no reason whatsoever to feel bad for telling Peter off. The man left a speeding car that ''he was driving'' to watch TV in another car leaving his family to crash and almost get horribly injured. You don't get to make your wife feel shame when you've done nothing but act like a selfish ManChild the entire trip and ''almost get your entire family killed''.

* UnintentionllyUnsympathetic: While Stewie was left home alone and eventually ran out of food, diapers, and just about everything else, certain circumstances make it hard to feel bad for him. He stayed up all night and went back to bed without warning, which is why he ended up home alone in the first place. And any sympathy you might have had for him when he runs out of food immediately falls out the window when you remember that Peter and Lois sent their neigbours around the house to look after Stewie in their absence to prevent such a scenario from happening (or, at least, worsening). Given that Stewie knocked them out and ''inexplicably chained them up in the basement'', he effectively screwed himself out of being taken care of for no reason.
