** Regardless of lineup, Frankie is the member who always gets the most media attention. Whether this is due to him being the face of the band or him being controversial in public is ambiguous. Josh Travis being around might change this, though.

* SignatureSong: "10 Signs You Should Leave," "Solar Flare Homicide," "Drug Dealer Friend," and "E" are arguably the most recognizable Emmure tracks.
* UnfortunateImplications: Emmure (like other deathcore bands like them) ''love'' to use the word "faggot" to improve shock to their music and come off as "brash", but others see it as a weak attempt to be edgy and unfortunately, it also makes some come off as disrespectful to the LGBT crowd. Emmure especially doesn't help their case considering it's used to [[TakeThatCritics slam critics/haters]].

** Mark Castillo. He was the drummer for Music/BetweenTheBuriedAndMe during the Silent Circus era.

* SnarkBait: People ''love'' mocking Emmure, and mainly because Frankie is infamously known for his CantTakeCriticism shtick and his overbearing behavior. Even people who ''do'' like their music agree he doesn't help his case with his behavior and being most of the time the factor of band members leaving. [[RunningGag A LOT]].

* SignatureSong: "10 Signs You Should Leave," "Solar Flare Homicide," "Drug Dealer Friend," and "E" are arguably the most recognizable Emmure tracks.

* OneOfUs: Quite a lot of songs contain references to comic books and Transformers. Josh Travis is also well known as being a nerd himself.

** Josh Travis. Anyone who knows his previous work will know why everyone made such a big deal about him joining the band.

* LoveItOrHateIt: To say the least. You either like the band for being less serious than other deathcore bands, and for featuring the integration of old school nu metal elements, or you hate the band for those exact same reasons. It also comes down to whether or not one can tolerate Frankie as a frontman.

* BaseBreaker: Josh Travis being hired caused a lot of controversy within his own fanbase, as they thought he'd stepped down a level by joining Emmure. Josh, being Josh, doesn't care; he gets to have fun and he's getting paid for it.
