* HarsherInHindsight: Scrooge gets sick and refuses any of his nephew's help and advice, stubbornly sticking to the idea that his illness isn't real even as his physical and cognitive functions declines, each of his nephews wearing face-masks to protect themselves from the illness. This episode came out May 2019, less than a year before UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic was officially announced. It certainly doesn't help that RealLife capitalist Creator/DonaldTrump denied the pandemic's severity and riled up anti-masker sentiments in the American population, even after he himself caught COVID.

* HarsherInHindsight: As Scrooge's mental state deteriorates from an untreated disease, his nephews and soon Webbie and his employee the Headless Manhorse all start wearing medical masks and keep a wide-berth while they try in-vein to make him listen to reason. Half a year after the episode comes out, the world is hit with the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic and President UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump tries to play off the pandemic as a hoax by his political enemies, only to test positive for the disease on October 2. The fact that Gold Fever is revealed to be fake and that [[TheCuckoolanderWasRight the crazed billionaire is proven right]] that [[ProperlyParanoid his supposed illness was nothing more than a plot against him]] only creates UnfortunateImplications when viewed from this perspective.
