* AuthorsSavingThrow: Probably why the 2007 remake gives Medusa a bigger role; being one of Demaon's most intimidating henchwoman, simply turning her into [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse the mouse]] is probably a mistake on Fujio Fujiko's part. Also the remake closes a loose thread the original left open, see below.

* FridgeHorror: There's actually an issue that the original manga and anime film forgot to address (not the 2007 adaptation, which does resolve it) - the fact that even after defeating Demaon and his minions, Demaon's henchwoman, Medusa, is ''still on the loose''. Even after all is said and done with Doralin's backup What-If Phone Booth turning the world back to normal, as established in Doraemon's conversation regarding the alternate 'verse, what happens in the magical reality will continue to exist as it's own continuity. Which means Medusa likely ''wouldn't'' be erased after the timeline is restored to normal and is now seeking her revenge. Sweet dreams!
