* VillainDecay: The Daleks. Once again they are subservient & overshadowed by their creator with very little to do in the story. Also Missy kills one of them using a broach.

* HilariousInHindsight: Clara at one point threatens Missy, telling her "she won't survive turning her back." [[spoiler:Getting shot in the back is precisely how Missy dies in "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS36E12TheDoctorFalls The Doctor Falls.]]"]]
* HarsherInHindsight: The implication that when Daleks cry "Exterminate!" they may actually be saying "I love you." for all we know. Or, more realistically but equally chilling: "I'm sorry," especially in the cases of other lifeforms forcibly converted into Daleks whenever they need more cannon fodder.

** Clara failed to realize that a casing with telepathic controls may be opened by thinking "Open". Then again, she was quite badly flustered, unused to the tech, and Missy had closed her in manually, so it makes some sense.
** That one Dalek who decided to stand around while Missy spent a solid two minutes explaining how he was about to die... when he could have Exterminated her over a hundred times throughout that whole spiel.
