This sentence is more picking apart non-funny regular flaws, so it's not really relevant to a Narm entry and serves as Natter.

* {{Narm}}: Go on, try listening to Rose and Donna say the phrase: ''"That's something a male-presenting Time Lord will never understand; just let it go"'', and try not to laugh at how absurd it sounds. What is meant to be an empowering moment for Rose and Donna comes off as unintentionally hilarious due to the clumsy dialogue. And that's not mentioning the AssPull this scene created nor how strangely cruel it sounds, especially as it's being delivered to one of ''the'' most beloved Doctors in the entire show's history.

** The announcement that Donna's daughter would be named Rose lead many fans to theorize that Donna either unconsciously named her after Rose Tyler or, in the case of Rose Noble being trans like her actress, that Donna was the one who suggested Rose when her daughter renamed herself. The reveal that Rose Noble inherited the metacrisis and has been tapping in to Donna and the Doctor's collective memories for her creations implies that Rose unconsciously named ''herself'' after Rose Tyler, so the name was a clue all along.

* FridgeBrilliance: Donna and Rose being able to "let go" of the Metacrisis may be subtly tying back into Ten's {{Pride}}. [[WomenAreWiser Rose and Donna, on their own, were able to think of a solution to their predicament]], whereas Ten had already decided that a MindWipe was the only option to keep Donna safe.

* SalvagedStory: One of the praise points this episode received is to the episode taking the time to show Donna and her parents dealing with her missing memories. Many also consider it an AuthorsSavingThrow as Russell T. Davies didn't really elaborate on the consequences of this memory wipe in "The End of Time", not even briefly. But here, with 15 years of Donna's lost memories, it's of significant focus, and Donna is suitably frustrated and panicked because of what she doesn't know.
