To elaborate in a constructive maner, the Complete Monster page states that a villain cannot be played for laughs. This guy is.

Hope you no longer care about this example, because it sure isn\'t valid.

* CompleteMonster: Believe it or not, [[spoiler:Vulcanus. Yep, you can't look any farther than this corrupt angel. \"Please only add examples that are presented In-universe. When it comes to this trope in Real Life, this descriptor applies to literally everything. No matter how universal the affection for something may seem, there is someone, somewhere who doesn\'t care for it. The only way to cover all the possible examples would be to write \"Everything ever, to some extent\", so Real Life examples aren\'t necessary. \" It is in the Love It Or Hate It last paragraph

* BittersweetEnding: The "normal" ending, gained upon beating the game after accidentally (or deliberately) killing someone in your party, is a huge downer. The "good" ending (beat the game without accidentally killing your own party members ''at all'') is the one considered canon, however.

* NeutralGood: Flonne (with slight leanings toward ChaoticGood).
** She could be considered LawfulGood, even after [[spoiler:she becomes a "FallenAngel"]] if not for the fact that she can get quite violent at times even if its just for comedy sake.

* TearJerker: The Red Moon chapter was one of the most heart-wrenching sequences in all of video games. [[spoiler: "But, if we are destined to part again, wouldn't it be better to watch from afar and leave without a single word?"]] The haunting song of the Prinnies really drives the emotion home even more.
** This is one of the few things the anime does right. The emotion behind it was so heart-wrenching and the use of Red Moon ~ Strings Night, a hauntingly beautiful arrange of the original song, really got the tears going regardless of AdaptationDecay. Then, there was Laharl's agonizing scream at the end...
** "DID...THURSDAY...SERVE...HIS...PURPOSE...?"
** A good portion of the endings fall into this, but it's the normal ending that really gets the tears going. [[spoiler: After Laharl realizes that by killing Lamington, he ended up killing Flonne as well, he takes his own life in the same way his mother did.]]
