In-universe, not an audience reaction.

* HilariousInHindsight: A in-universe example, when Ranma hears Akane declare "Ryoga Hibiki, Prepare To Die!" while destroying the area to get to him, She can't help but start giggling at the horrible irony of the statement, considering every time Ryoga spotted Ranma, his most common reaction is almost exactly the same thing.

RTDE should only be put into a YMMV page if it's about characters being vilified and/or believed to be evil by the audience. Individual works doing that are just using Adaptational Tropes.

* RonTheDeathEater: Akane's anger is exaggerated, and is mentioned as getting worse. This is later justified by a brain disease.

** Also, Yori and Chou are very similar to a different pair of magical girls... Namely [[Anime/FutariWaPrettyCure Nagisa and Honoka]].

* {{Expy}}: While using Sailor Moon heavily, several characters, including the senshi, take on traits found in the main team of ''Anime/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica''.
** Misaki: Has a naginata polearm, and [[BigEater is eating in every single scene she's in...]], as a close expy of Kyoko Sakura.
** Ami Mizuno: Hyper-competent water-themed magical girl whose role is largely similar to Sayaka Miki. [[spoiler: Especially her Rebellion self, being the secret keeper for Yori and Chou]].
** Minako Aino, blond-haired veteran magical girl who acts as the team leader, similar to Mami Tomoe. [[spoiler: Also, similar to Rebellion, has the secondary TeamPet as her partner.]]

* RonTheDeathEater: Akane, as is to be expected in these sorts of stories, of course gets this treatment. The author tries later to toss out an AuthorsSavingThrow with brain parasites to "justify" it rather then actually rewrite the story to have Akane in character.
** Considering that Akane in a berserker rage is what set things off and led to the events in the story, her acting that way was necessary. And there are mentions that Akane was getting ''worse'', which could be a hint at a untreated medical cause being involved.

It's not biased at all. It's an objective fact.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: Due to a DeconReconSwitch in the narrative, Akane is written using the fanon exaggeration of her early canon portrayal, of her being [[RonTheDeathEater violently unhinged]], for the author to have her suffering a rare degenerative disease which meant she had constant mood swings.

The Ron The Death Eater entry was highly, and I mean HIGHLY biased against the story and author. I know this is YMMV, but the way it was written was overplaying the negatives.

It's not a "Decon-Recon Switch" It's just bad writing.

* DeconReconSwitch: With Akane, The inital chapters have all the most common fanon aspects of Akane blown out of all proportion, then, after the parasite is removed, she slowly slides away from her fanon self, until, by the most recent chapters, she's a successful stunt woman with only brief slippages.

* RonTheDeathEater: Subverted with Akane. Although story initially makes her out to be a possibly homicidal maniac, who is a danger even to her sister Kasumi, it turns out that her anger is caused by a brain parasite. Once the parasite is removed, Akane calms down and comes to realize how badly she's screwed things up.
