Tastes Like Diabetes is no longer a trope. Moving examples to other tropes when applicable.

* {{Shipping}}: The author is an avid shipper, and her D&N Supports Collection even has her creating a handful of AU ships for Shanzira besides the one she ''did'' end up with in the main fic's canon: including one with Shanzira/Male!Robin, the latter of whom does not appear for obvious reasons. She even admitted that although [[spoiler:Frederick]] was a deliberate RomanticFalseLead, actually writing his relationship with Shanz made her grow fonder of both the character and the ship, to the point that she produced both an S-Support conversation for them (their A-Support ends their relationship in canon) and a one-shot look into the AU future timeline where they do get married.
* TastesLikeDiabetes: Chapter 40... Gods, Chapter 40. For her part, the author admitted that she had trouble finishing it because the feels were just too strong.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Shanz's child was going to inherit the hair colour of the husband [[spoiler:just like any of Lucina's potential siblings]], but this was changed to simply inheriting Shanzira's colouring - probably because if it ''had'' been done, [[spoiler:her father's identity would have been a dead give-away, killing the suspense when Shanz asked Emmeryn if she'd seen Noel's hair (unless she somehow concealed her hair colour from ''everyone'', which would almost completely break WillingSuspensionOfDisbelief.]] It allowed Shanz to develop her relationship more naturally rather than [[StrangledByTheRedString knowing from the start and feeling powerless about defining it for herself]]... That, and it was simply funnier that child's hair gave Shanz no hints about who she'd marry.
