** Other than an invader, a couple of cheap scares from Ogres behind doors and a boss, all the hostiles in Aldia's Keep are behind bars until you decide to pick a fight with them. Then you go to Dragon Aerie, which is optional. It features dragons in rather vulnerable spots that won't bother you as long as you don't break their eggs and pesky explosive-corrosive undead that'll be more of a threat to your time and souls wallet. The Dragon Shrine in ''[=SotFS=]'' is changed to series of four one-on-one duels on the way to meet the Ancient Dragon, of which only the second and last are any difficult. Picking up a fight with him, however, is another story.

** Jester Thomas is a one-off summon with no background, no lines, and only does only one thing: '''whup ass'''. And the fandom loves him for it.

Added DiffLines:

* The Pursuers, while not too difficult after you learn how to dodge their attacks and need only to be killed once to get rid of them, can be quite an annoyance when they appear outside of the first actual boss fight with one, sometimes in the middle of certain areas you're trying to explore and kill you quickly if you're caught off guard, not helped by how even when you come close to killing them, they may unleash a volley of dark bolts that can be difficult to dodge or block.
