* OlderThanTheyThink: The original series features many tropes associated with the Franchise/StarTrek franchise, which it predates by 15 years. A OneWorldOrder on Earth, a MultinationalTeam making up the main cast, a [[The Spock logical stoic alien]] whose name starts with S, and the MildlyMilitary nature of the space exploration organization are all featured here first.
