Tastes Like Diabetes is no longer a trope. Moving examples to other tropes when applicable.

* TastesLikeDiabetes: When used in the context of the "Healing" screen at the infirmary, the girls' chibi forms are just too cute!

** The Motivation mini-games. Even after disregarding its AudienceAlienatingPremise and the BrokenBase over its censorship, many didn't like that they were only way to learn new moves and that they required more money to play as the rank increases. This required players to grind extensively for these mini-games, most of which aren't fun to play. It doesn't help that it leads to some major GameplayAndStorySegregation with the main character as his NiceGuy persona and his willingness to hear out the girls doesn't mesh well with the kinky torture he places the girls in.

Unnecessary information.

** The censoring of the [=CGs=] for the motivation mechanics. Some feel that fans should be lucky that the game was localized at all and that it really hasn't been as horribly censored as many believe it was. Others believe that the game was marketed to specific type of demographic and thus there was no point in it being censored in the first place. The mini-game and [=CGs=] themselves have their own BrokenBase, which is covered above under AudienceAlienatingPremise.

** Not being able to choose attacks. While the game is balanced around it and being able to use Alice's or Tomoe's moves at will would remove any pretense of challenge, it's frustrating when fighting a more difficult foe and being unable to use moves that would be useful. It's particularly painful because ''VideoGame/OreshikaTaintedBloodlines'' has the same mechanic, but lets you override suggested moves for a small penalty.

Not YMMV

* BrokenAesop: Ran learns that as horrific as her experience with another man was, she should not take her anger out on every man out there, which the main character helps her realize by being patient with her and caring for her and the other girls. Unfortunately, the nature of the game's Motivation mechanic, which is a requirement to gaining new skills and advancing Ran's relationship with the Instructor, makes her epiphany less triumphant than it should because the Instructor had already done plenty of perverted things to her. This can be a problem for all the girls, but its especially jarring for Ran's CharacterDevelopment.
** Even worse: The girls even begin to ''enjoy'' every level of the mechanic after time.

* GameBreakingBug: If your Vita enters sleep mode on the tutorial screen on any Motivation screen, it won't allow you to continue to the actual game if you press X. Though this is thankfully easily fixed by pressing the home button and going back into the game.
** The bottles in Slippery Slope occasionally don't turn to the side regardless of what you do. However, it's easily fixed by removing your finger from the touch screen and putting it back on.

That's all well and good until you remember the game's motivation mechanic, which can end up warping it to "Ran learns all guys aren't bad thanks to a guy who whips her while she wears revealing clothing."
