** The series was originally intended to be a sequel to WebAnimation/TheOMGMostOriginalFanficIdeaEver, with one draft featuring Sonic, Sonia and Manic as kids. The idea was scrapped and Christmas with Sonic was made instead, though there are a few references to the draft of Sonic and his siblings as kids in the first one.
** Scrapped episodes ideas included spending Christmas at Shadow's house and turning into a parody of Home Alone, and the gang going to Europe (Which is somewhat referenced in the final episode where Amy admires the Eiffel Tower and longs to visit)
** In Another Christmas With Sonic they actually WERE going to parody Frosty The Snowman but ultimately cut it for time
** Silver and Blaze becoming a couple. In the minds of the creators it still happens but it's far more subtle than what they originally wanted
