* MemeticMutation: Many other films are given endings similar to this one; they stop just after the BigBad is killed, usually by explosion, and show the text, "(protagonist), age (in years) gave him/herself up to the authorities after the incident and is now serving a life sentence."

* {{SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic}}: Patrick Wales' score is nothing short of awesome, especially the ending theme.

* MagnificentBastard: [[VigilanteMan Mark Collins]], after seeing his daughter and her boyfriend killed by a gang, takes revenge on them by interrogating one of their members, then systemically taking them down before going after other criminals. When [[BigBad Bill]] forces him to do his bidding, only to come back on his word by attempting to kill him with a car bomb that kills his wife Yvette, Mark rampages through out Bill's compound, and when Bill seemingly has him cornered, he [[NothingUpMySleeve reveals a grenade launcher underneath his sleeve]] and blasts Bill to death with a single shot, turning himself in to the police when all is done.

* ItWasHisSled: Due to its memetic status, everyone knows that the film stops the instant Mark blows up the BigBad and gives himself up to the authorities.

* SignatureLine: Beside the famous ending caption, Bill's blunt assertion that his gang needs to "recruit more pimps, more pushers!" tends to get quoted quite a bit.

* FollowTheLeader: The movie was made to cash in the trend of vigilante action movies following ''Film/DeathWish''. The back cover doesn't try to hide it at all, promoting the movie as "Vengeance in the tradition of '''''DEATH WISH''''!"

*AssPull: At the very end of the movie, Mark is shot in the shoulder, forcing him to drop his rocket launcher, then reveals that he has a miniature rocket launcher hidden up his sleeve, one that was never so much as hinted at in any previous scene.
*MemeticMutation: Many other films are given endings similar to this one; they stop just after the BigBad is killed, usually by explosion, and show the text, "(protagonist), age (in years) gave him/herself up to the authorities after the incident and is now serving a life sentence."
*SignatureScene: The ending. The instant Mark blows up the BigBad, the film stops right there, revealing that Mark gave himself up and is now serving a life sentence.
*SoBadItsGood: The film has an almost completely nonexistent plot, clunky dialogue, poor special effects and an infamously abrupt ending, but it's rather entertaining to watch because of how bad it is.
*SpecialEffectFailure:
** When Mark takes on the final group of {{Mook}}s, he shoots a rocket between them, causing a small explosion that doesn't affect any of them and causes them to be blown away a second after the blast.
** When Mark shoots Bill, it's obvious that the actor was replaced with a mannequin in the shot before the rocket strikes home.
