* CompleteMonster: Megatron is once again the ruthless leader of the Predacons who desires as much power as he can get, no matter what. Megatron throughout the fanfic would regularly lead massive attacks, often to steal Energon or wipe out his enemies, with these attacks often having a high number of casualties. Megatron would occasionally kill random humans in addition to multiple attempts to wipe out humanity. Megatron is also a horrible boss, regularly executing his minions if they merely stop being useful, as well as often sending them off on dangerous missions that get a large number of them killed. After Megatron is resurrected as Galvatron, he brutally murders Tarantulas as punishment for trying to overthrow him. Galvatron then attacks a mountain containing a large number of Maximals to wipe them out and steal Energon, later trying to take advantage of Julia's ability to locate Energon by wiping out her village in order to kill her mother. Galvatron's plans would become even more destructive, and he would treat his minions even worse, often killing them for the pettiest of reasons. Galvatron's ultimate plan is now to destroy the entire universe so that he can remake reality in his image, something he nearly accomplishes.

* TearJerker: Natalie's death, the fate of Samantha's brother, the whole story behind Shawna and her mother, Native American Princess Silver Fox being a Wendigo, the near destruction of Victoria's world, Dinobot's HeroicSacrifice, Bonecrusher's betrayal, Tigatron and Airrazor disappearing, Tigerhawk's death, Waspinator's death after his HeelFaceTurn, Scorponock's villainous sacrifice, and finally, everyone saying goodbye at the end of the series.

* NightmareFuel: A majority of the Predacons were intended to be scary -- Megatron, Galvatron, Scarem, Rampage, Magmatron, and at times even Bonecrusher and Quickstrike -- but there's also the fact that Galvatron is trying to pull an ApocalypseHow by completely destroying and rewriting reality, the Wendigo, the multiple nightmares seen throughout the series, by both Cheetor and Victoria, the constant parental worries Victoria's parents go through not knowing if their daughter's safe or not, the Predacons' several WouldHurtAChild moments, the monsters int he labyrinth -- geez, this list could go on.

* MagnificentBastard: Jean-Louis warns the Maximals that if they transform, he’ll kill Victoria. However, if they don’t fight back, he’ll still kill Victoria. Either way, he wins.

** IronWoobie: Shawna's mother takes a lot of abuse -- physical and mental -- from everyone around her because of her daughter.

* TooCoolToLive: Depth Charge and Tigerhawk, primarily. At least Tigerhawk got to hang around a bit longer than before, half a season as opposed to two episodes.

* TheWoobie:
** Samantha. Her parents died after she was born, her brother went off to fight in the war and died at Antietam, she has to steal to survive, she's constantly bullied and berated by other kids her age, and she ends up targeted by Spittor because she thinks she has an Energon crystal. Needless to say, poor kid's gone through a lot for a nine year old.
** Shawna.

* AngstWhatAngst:
** Cheetor at first, though that could be attributed to him finally getting over what happened to Natalie one hundred years ago. It doesn't stick.
** Rattrap doesn't seem too affected by what's happened during the war.
** Blackarachnia dies in Silverbolt's arms, and it doesn't seem to affect him all that much, though it could be that he's suppressing his emotions and just not thinking about it.
** Stinkbomb doesn't let Angelika's murder by Blackarachnia and Rampage bother him that much after his debut, and after meeting Samantha, he briefly laments the fact that Cybertronians don't have any actual parentage.
** Samantha doesn’t seem too bothered by the fact that her brother is dead. She even acknowledges that she didn’t want to believe it at first.
** Nani doesn't seem too bothered about being the only one of her family to survive the bandit attack.
