* SeinfeldIsUnfunny: Although newer mods and the technical capabilities of source ports may have made ''Batman Doom''[='=]s features look gimmicky, many are forgetting that a lot of the mod's technical feats were done on DOS and the id Tech 1 engine alone.

* SpecialEffectFailure: Chapter 6-4 has a part where the player is seen climbing a rope. However, if one were to simply look down, they would see that they're actually being carried by a lift. Granted, this is to be forgiven, as most ''DOOM'' source ports didn't offer mouselook at the time, so the player wasn't expected to be able to see it anyway.

* SugarWiki/GeniusProgramming: ''VideoGame/BatmanDoom'' is a ''Doom II'' mod that manages to achieve some truly impressive tricks that would be incredibly difficult to pull off. These tricks includes a moving train, the Killer Croc's ability to pick up and throw rocks, flying helicopters, bigger explosions and much more. All of this was done by ACE Team with [=DeHackEd=] and the vanilla ''Doom'' engine alone, which was notable for being inflexible for modders at the time.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: This mod BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The Super-Secret level. In the middle of chasing a crook around Gotham, Batman comes upon a weird-looking portal in the floor. As he steps in, he is taken to a fleshy island floating in the middle of a black void, where he fights flying eyes that shoot batarangs at him, and then, to find the portal back home, he enters a giant mountain of meat through a tooth-filled mouth. The game then continues as normal.

* AntiClimaxBoss: Bane, the mod's final boss, has 250 hit-points and a relatively simple pattern that consists of keeping a safe distance from him, wait for him to [[BullfightBoss lunge at you]] or [[TalkToTheFist start talking smack]], then bop him one when he's open.
