In a shaky alliance with hero Sergeant Jake Roenick, Bishop proceeds to improvise and adapt against the dozens of intruders. Devising a plan to kill a traitorous officer when caught, Bishop also holds out under torture from Duvall, allowing Jake to kill Duvall, then escapes as dawn breaks.
