* ItWasHisSled: Mr. Whittaker is PutOnABus and takes a trip to the Middle East. There was originally no hint whatsoever that this was going to happen, unless you were aware of Hal Smith's death -- in fact, they even try to trick the viewer by having Whit voice the opening as usual and not even making any mention of it in the episode's PreCap. Nowadays, you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who is caught off guard by this, as it's pretty well known even among newcomers that Whit disappears for several albums in the middle of the show's run.
