* VillainRespect: Instead of being mad at his loss against Sami Zayn, he actually thanked him for beating him since his loss only established that he's the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time and anyone who beat him deserves the title. He's also glad that his loss can finally have him focus on bigger things.

* WorthyOpponent: Ever since winning the Intercontinental Championship, he's since respected any contender who tried but failed to take the title from him, which also helps that he is a fighting champion despite being a heel. Special mention to Wrestling/TheMiz, whom he dismissed as a clown and an entertainer before their match at the 2023 ''Survivor Series'', but publicly respected as a true wrestler for challenging him eye-to-eye in a fair and hard-fought match even after ultimately crushing the Miz and forcing him to tap out.

* FinishingMove: A sleeper hold called "[[Franchise/{{Godzilla}} Gojira Clutch]]", a lariat, a powerbomb, and a pumphandle version called the "Golden Bomb". When both of these reliable old soldiers failed to put away Pete Dunne at ''NXT [=TakeOver=]: New York'', WALTER improvised a new finishing sequence on the spot: a top rope jackknife powerbomb transitioned into the most ''terrifying'' frog splash ever witnessed by man. However, as many commenters have noted, the thing about WALTER that makes him so terrifying is that due to his stiff wrestling style ''every move he makes'' is a potential finisher, especially those chops of his.
** In the first week of December 2022, he added an [[Wrestling/MitsuharuMisawa Emerald Flowsion]] to his arsenal, which he calls the "Last Symphony", by defeating Wrestling/KofiKingston with it after the latter was able to kick out of his Powerbomb. He rarely uses the Last Symphony, however, so it is like a "Break Glass in Case of Emergency" finisher for him if his opponent was able to survive most of his commonly used finishers.
