*** In the same segment, Drew refers to how he was called "the Chosen One" before. Punk immediately asks, "Who was it? What was his name?", fully aware that the person was Wrestling/VinceMcMahon who is ''persona not grata'' on WWE TV following his very public sexual abuse scandal. Drew could only sit there awkwardly in silence.

* AtLeastIAdmitIt: Part of Punk's appeal as an antihero is his tendency to own up to less desirable character traits such as admitting to MJF he was initially scared that he wouldn't be able to hang in AEW and, in his feud with Drew [=McIntyre=] in WWE, openly calling himself the pettiest man in the business, maybe even the world.

* TakeThatMe: He's made a few joking references during his second run in WWE to his two infamous backstage fights with other wrestlers when he was working his most recent former employer. One was when he jokingly stated Wrestling/KevinOwens randomly punching people backstage just isn't acceptable when Punk infamously got into a brawl with Wrestling/TheYoungBucks backstage. Another is calling Drew [=McIntyre=] a "choke artist" for failing to fully capitalize on opportunities and saying he wasn't a choke artist before clarifying, "Well, not ''that'' kind of choke artist" in reference to putting Jack Perry in a front face chokehold at Wembley Stadium.
