* At one point in the mid-1990s, there were plans by Universal to build attractions based off the ''VideoGame/CrashBandicoot'' and ''Franchise/SpyroTheDragon'' video game franchises, due to their then-ownership of said franchises. It is said that [[Creator/{{SonyInteractiveEntertainment}} Sony Computer Entertainment]] (who published the games for the UsefulNotes/PlayStation console) shot the plans down in objection, so they instead came up with a meet-and-greet experience for the Crash Bandicoot character. The franchises are now under the ownership of Creator/{{Activision}}, who currently have no plans to license rides based off either franchise.
