** Chapter 2 starts with the death of Rex's guardian Azurda. [[spoiler:Then promptly ''un''-does it for maximum MoodWhiplash.]]
** In Chapter 3, Rex's [[spoiler:newfound mentor figure and the newest party member, Vandham, is killed by Torna]] and Pyra transforms into Mythra for the first time.
** Chapter 6 acts as an even larger turning point. [[spoiler:Torna attacks once again, but wins thanks to Jin, leading to Pyra being kidnapped and later tortured to achieve Torna's goals]], sending Rex into a HeroicBSOD.
** Chapter 7: Nia ends up having her backstory revealed, and is actually [[spoiler:a Flesh Eater, in addition, [[LoveConfession she admits her feelings towards Rex]]]]. Pyra and Mythra also want to meet the Architect so [[spoiler:they can be killed by him]]. Following that, [[spoiler:Rex gets another power boost via Pyra and Mythra's new form]].
** Chapter 8: The world under the Cloud Sea and Alrest is a destroyed dystopian city called the Land of Morytha[[note]] which looks eerily similar to our world[[/note]], and the World tree [[spoiler:is actually a giant mechanical building]].
** Chapter 10. All of it. For one, upon finally reaching Elysium, you learn that [[spoiler:it has become a barren wasteland with not a single creature, living or mechanical, in sight]]. Furthermore, the Architect [[spoiler:is actually Klaus, the human version of Zanza prior to the experiment that created the world of Xenoblade Chronicles 1]]. However, [[spoiler:he was split in two because of the experiment, and ''this'' Klaus chose to make a new world out of the remains of the old one, leading to the creation of Alrest, Blades, Titans, and the Cloud Sea]]. Not only that, but due to [[spoiler:the imminent destruction of Zanza]], [[spoiler:Klaus's time is running out, and he sends the heroes to take care of Malos and Artifice Aion]].

** The first has to be, no doubt, with the end of the first chapter, where Noah and friends first meet Mio and friends. In it, [[WeHardlyKnewYe Guernica Vandham]] shows them the true conflict that they are up against, and what they need to stop. They gain the [[FusionDance Ouroboros]] powers, and they come into conflict with the first Moebius that they meet [[spoiler:who is Interlinked D and J]].
** The end of Chapter 4 is another major one. It is when the gang finally reaches Keves castle, and stop N from firing the DoomsdayDevice. They encounter D and J for first time together, and learn about the concept of what Moebius interlinking is truly capable of. Once they reach the Queen of Keves, they learn that [[spoiler: the Queen is a fake, and that the Moebius has been ruling the castle for this entire time. The heroes get their first glance at [[TheDragon N]], and see just what he’s capable of and that he and M are indeed alternate versions of Noah and Mio.]]

** The ending of Chapter 5 and the beginning of Chapter 6. Where the hell do we even begin? It is easily the most iconic part of the entire game, and is incredibly impactful in its entirety. It’s basically the “[[WesternAnimation/{{Amphibia}} True Colors]]” of this game. To start off, This is what gives us a true introduction to N and M, and shows us just how powerful they are. [[spoiler: The heroes put more effort into fighting than they ever have before, yet despite their best efforts, they actually lose in the end. They spend a month in prison as N gleefully awaits for [[YourDaysAreNumbered Mio’s time to end]]. This is the only time where Noah is at a true loss of hope and anger, and puts him in a truly helpless position. When the month is up, N publicly executes Mio, as he eagerly awaits her death, all while Noah and friends helplessly watch the whole thing. Right before the big moment, though Noah learns about N’s backstory, and why an alternate version of himself [[FaceHeelTurn would turn evil]]. It really looks like Mio is actually dead, but in a sudden turn of events, the Mio that died was actually M, and that she [[FreakyFridayFlip switched bodies with Mio]] [[HeroicSuicide so that the latter could live]]. Once N finds out. ''He'' is the one who is helpless, as Noah unlocks the true power of the Lucky 7]].
** The Ending, the end of Chapter 7. It’s when [[spoiler: the gang finally reached Z, and where they strive to stop the terrible status quo that he has set on this world. He tries to weaken their morale by showing their their deepest regrets, but they each resist, and show just how far each of them has come on their journey. Z ends up merging with Origin, and threatens to destroy the entire world. This encourages all of Aionios to join in on fighting, where they unleash all of their men on Z’s army. The heroes that the gang has recruited throughout the adventure all come together to aid them all one last time, and in the end, Melia and Nia join in to finally end Z once and for all. Once he’s in a vulnerable state N and M, then [[HeroicSacrifice sacrifice themselves for real]] to destroy him once and for all. With Z gone, the two worlds must now separate for good, and the main gang must part ways. Even though they cannot join the new world together, it is much preferable to the world that they once had, and it’s clear that they will always remember each other]].
* ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles3FutureRedeemed'' has possibly the ''mother'' of all Wham Episodes with the start of Chapter 5, in which [[spoiler:the heroes and Na'el are taken to a simulation of life on the Rhadamanthus Orbital Tower moments before Klaus fatefully activates the Conduit. There is a news announcement playing on an old-fashioned radio. Not just any radio, but one that has the [[VideoGame/{{Xenosaga}} Vector Industries]] logo, clear as day. The news broadcast goes onto mention several colonizing starships departing from the Rhadamanthus dock, and moreover several very interesting names are mentioned: the [[VideoGame/XenobladeChroniclesX Earthlife Colonization Project and Project Exodus]], the first in line of what's known as a [[VideoGame/{{Xenogears}} Philadelphia-class mothership]], and [[VideoGame/{{Xenosaga}} Dmitri Yuriev]], a politician belonging to the Saviorite[[note]]"Salvator" in Japanese[[/note]]. That's right. '''All''' Xeno games are [[BroadStrokes roughly]] canon to each other or at least part of the same overlapping multiverse, and the Klaus Saga is basically the story of how Lost Jerusalem came to be lost and then restored]].
