* FelonyDismeanor: Seriously? Timmy gets hunted down by the police just because he supposedly stole a quarter?

The plot centers around Timmy suddenly becoming "The Chosen One" a entity known simply as "The Darkness" descends upon Earth looking for him. In order to beat it back Timmy must find three mystical wands (one in each movie) which are the only objects powerful enough to combat it. However he must contend against the Darkness's enforcers, The Eliminators, who are sent to find him. As the plots goes on, things turn out not so cut and dry as believed.

* VileVillainSaccharineShow: The Destructinator from the episode "Wishology". An OmnicidalManiac dedicated to the destruction of other worlds and willing to kill a 10 year old boy. He is so atrocious he was the first and only character in the series to be KilledOffforReal.

* Chosenone: zigzaged many times. In the first movie, Jorgen tells Timmy the elinators are following him because of a cave prophecy. However [[spoiler: it turns out that Turbo Thunder is the chosen one. Something he couldn't do because he was late. Look at UnChosenone for more details.

* BigBad: In the first two parts, The Darkness appears to be this. However, in the third part the [[TheDragon The Lead Eliminator]] is revealed to be the actual villian.

** TheStarscream: He betrayes the Darknes later on.

* ShoutOut: There are several. In fact, the first part of the trilogy contains a number of them ranging from Film/TheMatrix, LordOfTheRings and Franchise/HarryPotter. In fact, Timmy [[LampshadeHanging lampshades]] this in the second part when they're in a StarWars style cantina, by saying, "This seems weirdly familiar" and later on stating "Okay, now I ''know'' I've seen this somewhere before." Speaking of StarWars, at right at the beginning of the third part, we have Cosmo narrating his take on of the famous "text scrawl".

* PlotHole: In the the second part of the movie, Timmy asks several of his enemies for assistance after he had been cut off from his friends and family. Strangely enough, he doesn't even consider going to Tootie and/or another of his friends like Sanjay and Elmer to help in defeating the Darkness. Possibly justified because he needed people to help him with fighting and space travel, and, while Tootie, Elmer and Sanjay may be able to fight, the enemies were definitely better candidates for that.

* PlotHole: In the the second part of the movie, Timmy asks several of his enemies for [[spoiler: assistance after he had been cut off from his friends and family.]] Strangely enough, he doesn't even consider going to Tootie and/or another of his friends like Sanjay and Elmer [[spoiler: to help in defeating the Darkness]]..
** Possibly because he needed people to help him with fighting and space travel, and, while Tootie may be able to fight, the enemies were definitely better candidates for that.

* ExactWords: When Mark told Timmy he couldn't pull a spaceship out of his pockets, Timmy then said what he'd need to contact someone who did have a spaceship. Mark then quickly pulled said items from his pockets. Don't look at him like that, Timmy. Mark said he couldn't pull a "spaceship" out of his pockets.

* GenreSavvy: Timmy who is often portrayed as an IdiotHero and a DesignatedHero actually is fairly competent in this movie. In the first part [[spoiler: he is completely cut off from his fairies with no access to magic and he has to find the first wand on his own]] In the second part, he is cut off, [[spoiler:from his fairies and hisfamily and friends, he swallows his pride and goes to several of his enemies for help.]] For example [[spoiler:Crocker may be insane but he, also, is probably the best one Timmy can turn to]]. He, also, [[spoiler: contacts Dark Laser because he knows that he has a spaceship]].

* OhCrap: The look on the Destructinator's face when Timmy in the final scenes says in response to the Destructinator's quesion if he had any last words; Timmy says [[spoiler: "Yeah, when I crashed into you in space, I sorta stole your detanator]]; the look on that giant robot's face is priceless!
