Added example(s), General clarification on works contentl; TNAOHM still had some fantasy elements, even if it was more sci-fi overall thanks to the futuristic setting and space travel.

''The New Adventures of He-Man'' was a 1990 SixtyFiveEpisodeCartoon used to promote a revival to the ''Franchise/MastersOfTheUniverse'' toyline. Unlike its predecessor, ''WesternAnimation/HeManAndTheMastersOfTheUniverse1983'', the series is almost purely ScienceFiction, though it still contains {{Continuity Nod}}s to the original show. However, the effort didn't last long, and the show only lasted one season of [[SixtyFiveEpisodeCartoon 65 episodes]], only half as many as the original cartoon. It took [[WesternAnimation/HeManAndTheMastersOfTheUniverse2002 twelve years]] for there to be another cartoon version of the franchise.

* GenreShift: Downplayed, the original series mixed [[ScienceFantasy science fiction and fantasy elements with a lean towards fantasy]]. This one leans more towards science fiction, but He-Man and Skeletor still have supernatural origins for their powers, Master Sebrian is a wizard and the episode "The New Wizard in Town" was all about a meeting of magic users.

* CrystalSpiresAndTogas: For as science-fiction as everything is, the Primans wear clothing that is just as Bronze Age as that of the Eternians, with Skeletor even referring to a part of Sebrian's attire as a toga in ''The Seeds of Resistance'', though the actual piece of clothing is closer to a robe in appearance than an actual toga.

Due to the similar attire, Adam does not require a costume change to fit in.
