''Space Goofs'' (''Les Zinzins de l'espace'' in French, ''Home To Rent'' in Britain) is a French animated series produced by Gaumont Film Company, Gunther-Waul Productions and Xilam for France 3 that first aired in 1997.

It tells the story of five aliens, the intelligent Etno, couch potato Bud, clean freak Candy, gluttonous Gorgious and two-headed Stereo, who have crashed on Earth and have taken residence in the attic of an old house. Their main tasks are to chase away anybody who takes residence in the old house and try to get back home.

''Stupid Invaders'', a video game based on the series was released a few years after the show itself ended.

* HighPressureEmotion: Including having set up during the moment Candy becomes DrivenToMadness from "Bats in the Belfry".
* HoYay: Candy and Gorgious share quite a number of these moments. In "Inside Gorgious", Candy is ''very'' eager to care for Gorgious when he's sick, even massaging his feet and saying that he feels much closer to him. When Candy asks to be pinched near the end of "Welcome!", Gorgious does so off-screen, with Candy's surprised reaction suggesting it was someplace tender, and in ''Stupid Invaders'', Gorgious asks Candy if "anyone's told [Candy] that [he's has] a nice bum?".

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: Because of it being an European show. There's been literal cases.
** It got away with cigars, like in "Bats in the Belfry".
** At the end of "Doodle", Gorgious thinks the last plan Etno came up with is "retarded", a word you don't normally hear on a kids' show.
** At the start of "Get Off My Couch!", Gorgious threatens to beat up Candy, saying that he's "gonna kick [his] little, green [[CurseCutShort a--]]", only to be interrupted by Bud. And yes, he ''does'' get the first syllable out before getting cut short.
** The episode "First Love" has a couple that move into the aliens' house and Gorgious has to approach the girlfriend in human form, telling her she's in private property and for her to leave. She proceeds to flirt with him, telling him he has "such a big... muscle." What really gives the impression is how it looks like he's quickly checking his groin as she's saying it.

* AcidRefluxNightmare: After eating too many sweets, Gorgious has a nightmare where he gambles for his teeth.

* ManChild: Bud easily has the least mature mind out of all the aliens.

* OnlySaneMan: Etno tries to keep his cool in most situations while the others panic easily.

* TheSmurfettePrinciple: Double Subverted as Candy is the only character that has both male and female instead of AlwaysMale.
* ShesAManInJapan: In the Latin American Spanish dub of the first season, Candy is female.
