Space Ghost and his companions had all new adventures in the early 1980s on Creator/{{NBC}}'s AnimatedAnthology ''WesternAnimation/SpaceStars,'' and these were remarkably true to the tone of the original series. In 1994, Creator/CartoonNetwork gave Space Ghost a 15-minute evening talk show, ''WesternAnimation/SpaceGhostCoastToCoast''; the creators of that show later helped launch Creator/AdultSwim. There was also a 2005 comic book limited series that gave him a very much DarkerAndEdgier backstory. The 2016 comic series ''ComicBook/FutureQuest'' features him as a lead, alongside WesternAnimation/JonnyQuest, WesternAnimation/{{Birdman|1967}}, and other Hanna-Barbera action heroes. There was even a [[https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c890397463 manga]] released in 1967 that [[ShortRunners lasted a single volume]].
