For one, it's one of the fastest TV-to-movie adaptations in the history of Hollywood, WesternAnimation/SouthPark having debuted ''two years'' before. For another, the song "Blame Canada" earned the film an Academy Award for Best Original Song (Disney's "Disney/{{Tarzan}}" won, but Matt Stone and Trey Parker didn't take it sitting down).
