A SpinOff of the ''[[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Jimmy Neutron]]'' franchise, and the 29th Franchise/{{Nicktoon|s}} overall.

Premiered alongside ''WesternAnimation/TUFFPuppy '' on Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} October 2, 2010, the series was met with lackluster reception. About half of the first season was aired on Nickelodeon before they moved new episodes to be broadcast on Creator/{{Nicktoons}} only, similarly to ''WesternAnimation/BackAtTheBarnyard'' (which was produced by the same company). The last episode to be aired of the first season was released on February 15, 2013, with no likely followup, resulting in [[LeftHanging no resolution to Sheen's return to Earth]]. There was supposed to be a TV movie about Jimmy and the gang trying to rescue Sheen, but due to low ratings, production costs, and several staff members moving on, it was cancelled.

* DenserAndWackier: While the show had a comedic tone, they were balanced with enough serious and emotional moments to make it feel like a good show. This show forgoes all of that and tries to make things very wacky and over the top.

Before too long, he finds himself accidentally stranded on Planet Zeenu, four million and one lightyears away from home. There, he becomes an ambassador to the local purple-skinned Zeenuians, the Emperor of whom believes him to be a hyper-intelligent being sent from the heavens to guide them. He makes some new friends too, including Doppy--an alien who looks remarkably like Carl, Aseefa--a beautiful Glimmorian princess, whom Sheen becomes smitten with and Mr. Nesmith--a highly intelligent astronaut chimp.

While he may appear generous and kindhearted at first, especially towards Sheen, deep down he's just a big dumb baby with zero knowledge as to how to run a planet who seems to have little to no interest in the well-being of his subjects, frequently inventing ridiculous events and regulations just to tame his own boredom.

* TheDragon: Pinter is Dorkus' main lackey.

* EvilChancellor: Dorkus, although partly subverted. Yes, he is mean and evil and never above cheating if it serves his interests but his only goal seems to be winning back the Emperor's favor, in order to do which he needs to get rid of Sheen. Even if he does consider his ruler to be incedibly vain (and seeing as he's [[StrawmanHasAPoint totally right about that]]), he never once tries to actually depose him.

** Doppy who is Carl's {{Expy}} appeared in the pre-premiere commercials, and at the ending of the first episode, prompting Sheen to stare in [[JawDrop Jaw Dropped]] awe. Funny thing, Carl was going to be part of the show, but due to ExecutiveMeddling, Doppy took his place.
** Mr. Nesmith would appear to be Jimmy's counterpart of the show.

* {{Flanderization}}: So much so that the entire trope could have been easily renamed Sheenization. While Sheen in the original show was definitely a hyperactive, geeky kid that could turn annoying every once in a while, every single trait of his character that might have been considered at least slightly serious (such as his genuine love and respect for his friends and father, his short-temper, as well as his bravery) is practically wiped out of existence for the sake of ''Planet Sheen''.
