Sadly, the series did not last due to complaints. Fans and parents at the time complained that it looked cheap and it looked like something similar to ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls'' that they can watch on cable television instead, and unlike ''WesternAnimation/ThreeTwoOnePenguins'', it did not get revived. Although, the show did air on NBC's Creator/{{Qubo}} [[UsefulNotes/BlockProgramming block]] in 2006 (of course, in an edited format).

* AdaptationalBadass: Let’s face it, the only villain Larry-Boy took down in the original half hour specials before this series was a Milk Money Bandit. This cartoon series had Larry-Boy not only having more gadgets but actually taking down dangerous (albeit silly) super villains. This trope later carried over to the main Veggietales series that featured the character.

* TheRemake: The show's first episode was redone as an episode of WesternAnimation/TheVeggieTalesShow, titled "[=LarryBoy=] and the Angry Eyebrows Trouble". There were many changes to it though, such as original characters (with the exception of Awful Alvin) being replaced with more familiar characters from the original [=VeggieTales=] series. Furthermore, a chapter book named [=LarryBoy=] and the Emperor of Envy (that was never made an episode) was also given this treatment.

This series is a alternative continuity from the main episodes, as the series doesn't have any connections to each other aside from the titular character Larry-Boy and some of the characters from ''WesternAnimation/VeggieTales''.
