Jorel's Brother (Portuguese: Irmão do Jorel) is a Brazilian animated television series created by Juliano Enrico and produced by Copa Studio for Cartoon Network Brazil since 2012. The series debuted in September 22, 2014, and is notable for being the first animated production exclusively produced by Cartoon Network Latin America (although their first very original production was the short series Santo vs. The Clones).

The series shows the daily life of an eccentric and extravagant family. Jorel is the middle child, with silky hair and a sweet and attractive way to win girls, which makes him the most popular guy in town. However, the show does not revolve around him, but around his younger brother, a shy and nameless boy just called "Jorel's Brother". Being overshadowed by the fame and popularity of his older brother, Jorel's Brother tries to gain his own identity and be someone important in the family. Each situation revolves around a typical confusion set in a Brazilian family atmosphere of late [[TheEighties 80's]], amid surreal and nonsense adventures, always from the perspective of Jorel's Brother.
Jorel's Brother lives with his father Edson, a neurotic father who dedicates his spare time to the revolutionary theater and conceptual cinema, his mother Danuza, an active, athletic woman, former olympic champion on several olympic modalities, who's always concerned about her children's well-being, his grandmother Gigi, an old lady which is sarcastic and very stressed, with her entire face wrinkled and a lollipop always in her mouth, his grandmother Juju, a calm old lady that is very gentle with her grandchildren, her grandmother Juju's ducks Danúbio, Fabrício, Gesonel, and his dog Tosh.

He goes to school in a bike with his best friend, Lara, a playful, loud and cheery girl. He studies with Lara and other kids, such as Pablito (a honduran kid with a mustache), Samantha (a giant, green BarbaricBully, Ana Catarina, a blonde, tall girl who is Jorel's Brother's crush, and others.

* AnachronismStew: The show has a [[TheEighties 80's]] feeling and is stated to be set in The 80's. However, there are many contradictions:

** In "Jornal do Quintal", a calendar shows the date of December 2015 (which makes the episode technically take place in the future instead of the past, as it premiered in 2014, while the previous episodes premiered in 2017)

* CatchPhrase: Mrs. Lola, the school principal, yells "NÃO PODE!" ([people] CAN'T [to this]).
* ConspicuouslyLightPatch: The background is drawn with dirly lines and darker colors (in Season 1, people in mobs were part of the background too) Parodied in a short, where Perdigoto is hosting a show, where there are four doors and one has to be chosen. Out of the four, one is plain light green, while the other three are darker and have details on it. However, it is not the chosen door.

* MediumBlending: The backgrounds have a more crude and caricate style than the characters. This is specially noticed in Season 2.

* TheSilentBob: Jorel has only had one actual line (his own name). Other than that, he only gives a deboxed laugh.

* WhereTheHellIsSpringfield: The show takes place at the brazilian Midwest, but it's unknown which city it is. It's most likely set in Goiás, according to the anti-close shown.
