* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: Hansel and Gretel are this to Boingo. While they and Boingo basically had the same evil plan, to sell goodies, they went about it in different ways. Boingo just wanted to destroy homes and businesses to expand his goodie empire while Hansel and Gretel planned to sell off the magic truffles to other villains and had world-domination plans. Another thing that sets them apart is their reveal as a TwistVillain. Boingo's reveal happened very late into the first act while Hansel and Gretel's true colors happened very early on to the point where you can hardly call them twist villains.

* DemotedToExtra: Kirk, but to be fair, he wasn't ''that'' integral to the plot in the first film.

* OhCrap: "Oh, schnitzel." This one carries over from the first film.

* TrailersAlwaysSpoil: The aforementioned scene was in multiple trailers, making it rather easy to tell who the villain is, especially if you've seen the first movie. The first movie averted this - Boingo didn't show up in any of the first one's trailers, which had been formatted to make the Wolf look like the villain.

* RunningJoke: The Sister of the Hood who keeps getting hit in the head with her rolling pin, among others. And then, the Head Sister always stepping on the KO'd Sister's face.
** Japeth getting injured.

* GianSpider: One serves as a major threat during the climax.
